Fire Protection Engineer Qualifications & Requirements
Technical Skills
- •3-8 years of fire protection design experience
- •Proficiency in AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation software
- •Knowledge of NFPA standards (13, 72, 101, etc.)
- •Experience with IBC, IFC, and life safety code requirements
- •Familiarity with Revit MEP a plus

Education & Certifications
Education:

- +Experience with healthcare, high-rise, or data center fire protection
- +Special hazards suppression design (clean agent, foam, CO2)
- +NICET certification in Fire Alarm or Sprinkler a plus
