  • Design civil infrastructure including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways
  • Prepare construction plans, specifications, and engineering reports
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants
  • Conduct site visits and field reviews during construction
  • Prepare permit applications and agency submittals
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
  • Mentor junior engineers and EITs (PE level)

Civil Engineer (EIT/PE) Qualifications & Requirements

Technical Skills

  • 2-10+ years of civil engineering experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
  • Knowledge of hydrology/hydraulics (HEC-RAS, SWMM)
  • Understanding of local, state, and federal permitting requirements
  • Experience with land development, transportation, or municipal infrastructure

Education & Certifications

Education:

  • +Familiarity with local/state DOT standards
  • +LEED AP, CFM, or ENV SP credentials a plus
